CoolPlay is our life-skills partner, and an integral part of what we do at Ukhanyo Primary School.
On the last weekend of October the school hosted a CoolPlay tournament, attended by the Coolplay executive, including Barry O’Mahony, Tori Gardner and operations manager Luqmaan Ismail.
The event started at 10am In the morning. The activities included a session on CoolPlay lifeskills, sports specific drills and some matches afterwards.
Our netball and soccer teams played some matches against Ocean View, Marine and Kleinberg, while the rugby teams played internal games against each other. CoolPlay Champions Ethan and Grace looked after the teams.
It’s was great day of fun, there was music played and we had a braai afterwards. The kids really enjoyed it.
