Graduation Day for Yomela Hoho (left) and Ntunzi Njiri (right).
We’re thrilled to celebrate the recent graduation of Ntunzi Njiri and Yomela Hoho from the Communiversity of South Africa programme – an achievement made possible courtesy of a MasiSports+ partnership with the Communiversity of South Africa.
Ntunzi accessed the program through MasiSports+ as one of our volunteer cricket coaches. Yomela was part of the NYS internship programme in 2024/2025, where he spent six months on an internship at MasiSports+.
The Communiversity is a college-prep programme that bridges the gap between high school and college and/or a good career.
The programme is a dynamic, short-term initiative designed to equip young people with essential skills, career readiness, and preparing them for employment or further studies. The 8-course College Prep and Pre-Professional Programme supports stress management, emotional intelligence and participatory learning along with academics. All students take all eight courses.
This achievement is a proud reflection of MasiSports+’ ongoing commitment to capacity building, youth empowerment and employability. By supporting access to transformative programmes like this, we are helping young people build employable futures and live fulfilled, purpose-driven lives.
A special thanks to the Communiversity of South Africa for making this possible!
Congratulations, Ntunzi and Yomela – your journey inspires us all!
