This Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and potential of every woman and girl in our community. At MasiSports+, empowering women and girls is at the heart of our mission, creating opportunities for growth through sport, education, leadership, and employability initiatives. MasiSports+ specifically aims to promote gender equity and empower women and girls through inclusive opportunities in sport and culture.
We are proud of the remarkable achievements of our girls’ programmes. Our girls’ soccer teams have enjoyed an outstanding season and remained unbeaten, while our netball teams have excelled in league competition. Chess participation among girls continues to grow, providing opportunities to develop confidence, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
Beyond the sports field, our empowerment pillar is helping young women prepare for future careers through employability programmes, internships, job shadowing opportunities, and professional development initiatives. These programmes are designed to equip young women with the skills, confidence, and experience needed to build brighter futures.
Today we honour the women who inspire, lead, coach, support, and uplift others. Together, we are creating opportunities, breaking barriers, and empowering the next generation of female leaders.
