Impact report and analysis give incredible insight

We have been so privileged this year. The renowned Prof Cora Burnett-Louw and the Henley Business School respectively have researched an impact report and reputation analysis on MasiSports and the community. Both are invaluable in assisting us to align with our evolving path and allow us to reach deeper into the community.

They interviewed 82 stakeholders through 30 meetings in two and a half days. They were committed and in a short time got to understand the strengths and tragic difficulties of Masiphumelele. The final report was designed as a presentation from a business consultant to a client with clear short-, medium-, and long-term firm recommendations.

How amazing is that? Their presentation with Prof Cora’s impact report has given us a real boost as to the way forward. Added to that are the intuitions from the Judith Neilson Foundation executive team who visited us with their global insights, It has been a year of driving forward at lightning speed, yet ending by reflecting on the collective wisdom of these three giants. We are deeply grateful and so will the community and schools be in time.

I want to end with the first paragraph of my message in our Impact report:
Seven years on, and it feels like we have only just begun.

MasiSports may be an independent NPO, yet we are a collective. Our partners envelop the programme with donations, expertise, and advice and are intimately involved in the project.

We do not stand alone. We feel privileged and embraced – and importantly, so do the 3 500 learners and the schools. Your involvement is everything. In true ubuntu tradition, we exist because of you and the Masi children.

Thank you, Prof Cora, the Henley Business School, the Judith Neilson Foundation and all our partners and donors
