Masi High finds its rhythm with Dance for All

Teddy Nyali, MasiSports head coach at Masi High wrote this enthusiastic piece about dancing, having just seen the All Blacks practise before the Cape Town Test. That tells a story of how inspiring our very first session of Dance for All was. Dance for All – headed up by Allison Hendriks – is a NPO that empowers disadvantaged children and youth through dance.

Teddy wrote: “Dance for All visited Masi High today for the very first time. What a great learning experience we had. It was fun and enjoyable. There were about 47 kids participating – all girls. We will have them every Friday moving forward and are hoping that the boys will join. Yonela and Nikkie were brilliant with their dance moves and can’t wait for the next training session.”

A huge thanks to Allison and her team. I encourage the teachers and coaches to take part in the next one. What a great way to end your Friday afternoon!”

Dance for All will come back every Friday – the kids, educators and coaches can’t wait. Thank you, Allison Hendriks and your team.
